For Our Friends is a 501c3 non-profit, primarily foster-based group devoted to rescuing pets that are in urgent situations.
100% of all donations go directly to rescue more pets or to support animals we have already rescued. All donations are tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt for your contributions.
We Are Always in Need of Volunteers!
We're looking for some motivated folks to join our rescue team in various roles. No worries if you are not local - you can still help out with admin tasks or online support! The time commitment can be as little as a few hours a month or as much as daily help- whatever works best for you. Put your talents to good use! Whether you're planning events, creating T-shirt designs, socializing animals, dog walking, interviewing potential adopters, chatting with sponsors, transporting animals to events, taking video or photos at events or of new rescues, or even organizing or hosting donation and supply drives, we could use your skills.
Our Team is made up of passionate volunteers who have full-time jobs but love what we can do - rescuing animals and finding them forever homes. If you're a motivated self-starter with a skill that can help us, we'd love to hear from you.
Just a quick note: we're a volunteer-run nonprofit (501(c) (3)), so no one gets paid - not even our Board members. Everyone works purely out of love for the animals.
