Story
LILY from Hempstead Shelter! This adorable super senior (12+ yo) came into our care officially this afternoon. As you may recall, we tried to rescue her a month ago, but were unable to secure a committed foster at the time. But now, this beautiful girl is in a wonderful foster home, already getting the feel for her new digs and doing well.
As a team, with her foster family, we will do all we can for her to make her feel happy, well cared for, and loved. That's what we do best!
Vet appt within the next week or so as long as she is doing well. We like them to settle in a bit before their first vet appt, especially when we feel they need good food and care before we run the gamut of wellness tests we always do. We are grateful to our foster, Gloria, for welcoming LILY into her home and heart.
We will update you more as we get to know LILY and figure out her best plan going forward.
