Welcome MAXIE to For Our Friends!
13 years young, MAXIE was Hempstead Shelter-bound, but we were able to intervene and take him into our care. His family is moving and isn't taking him.
Dogs have such big hearts, and this boy is a great example of that. He kept looking for his family when they left him with us...
MAXIE was already at our vet for a thorough exam, and he seems to be in good health.
He is already neutered, and we expect he should be ready for adoption very soon.
He seems to get along fine with other dogs, and we recommend kids over 8 for him.
We hope we can find him a great home soon, with a family that will love and cherish him.
