Welcome, SAWYER, fka TIMMY from Hempstead Shelter!
This young (1-year-old) adorable boy came into the shelter with a broken pelvis, likely hit by a car. Thankfully, he had surgery a few weeks ago and seems to have healed well.
He looks to be a spaniel mix, perhaps, and he weighs 14lbs. SAWYER is headed into foster tonight, and we will assess his best forever home.
We believe he is good with dogs, and we can already tell he is great with all people.
